Our founder Simon Moffatt will be presenting a keynote talk at the inaugural ID Underground Summit in Denver on Oct 6-7th 2025.

The Identity Underground is described as “..an exclusive, tight-knit network of CXOs and technology practitioners focusing on innovation in identity security. The global network provides unique access to thought leaders committed to advancing this domain, visionary CEOs and founders pioneering identity security innovations, and a direct connection to an impressive peer group.”

The summit aims to bring together C-level executives and practitioner experts who are looking to develop strategic identity security solutions.

Simon’s presentation will focus upon the changing nature of identity in general – moving from being a tactical and operational function a decade ago, to one that empowers security, productivity and revenue generation opportunities today. However, with that comes complications. We have more identities and more types of identities than ever before under management – and they all have subtly different functional and non-functional requirements.

The past 2 years for example has seen a huge surge in the use of agentic-AI. But how to secure and manage that ecosystem? We need a new set of ways to handle large scale authentication and complex and dynamic access control.

To that end, IAM has become a clear attack vector for internal and external adversarial activity. From insider threat and employee to nation state IP harvesting, the IAM infrastructure has become an attack surface larger than ever before.

Simon’s talk will try to unpick some immediate and strategic innovations that have emerged in the global industry that aim to discover and manage some of the vulnerabilities that exist in this brave new IAM world and how those technologies may evolve over the coming decade.
